SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is not an add-on for ergonom-isch ag – it is an integral part of our daily actions, from production right through to delivery. Together with our production facilities, we completely avoid plastic and polystyrene. Our office chairs and sit/stand desks are shipped using as little packaging material as possible. To protect them during transport, we rely exclusively on paper and cardboard.
Short transport routes are also key for us. By cutting out middlemen, our products go directly from the factory to our warehouse in Muttenz near Basel. From there, we coordinate delivery in collaboration with our partner marketingspot ag and ensure delivery routes are planned efficiently. 
As we deliver our office chairs fully assembled, there is no packaging waste for the customer. The cardboard boxes used can be reused in our partners’ packaging process. They are deliberately kept simple – without colours, without lamination and using minimal materials.
In this way, we offer ergonomic office chairs and height-adjustable desks that impress not only through their quality and durability, but also through a responsible use of resources.
